How To Have Fast Weightloss By Calorie Counting

One way that you can come to lose weight quickly is to calorie count. So how can we see fast weightloss with calorie counting? This means that you keep a careful count of how many calories you consume, every day, in order to make sure that you don't take in more calories than you burn off.

To lose weight quickly, and to keep it off both for the short term and the long term, it is important too calorie count, as well as to exercise regularly and to eat a diet that is low in saturated fat.

Today anyone that can read a label can count calories good enough to lose weight. It doesn't matter whether you are male or female, where you live, or whether or not you wish to lose weight quickly or have plenty of time to devote to losing it.

The concept behind calorie counting is that you can eat whatever you choose, but you have to make sure that you exercise sufficiently to get rid of those calories. Actually to lose weight you will need to burn more calories than you eat, so this makes it smart to pick healthier foods with less calories to begin with. The thing is that any calories that are consumed but not burnt off, will probably end up as fat. It stands to reason then that calorie counting must be accompanied by consistent exercise.

Once you really get into this, your going to be paying more attention to what you eat every day. Your going to really be surprised on how many calories can be found in certain foods and what a potion really looks like. It can be a real eye opener but will lead to you becoming more conscientious. The other thing that is important when considering fast weightloss, is you need to know what is the best daily calorie intake for you.

Your probably saying, enough about counting, how do I use this for fast weightloss? To start, you first need to figure out how many calories you require to maintain a stable and healthy weight. The rule of thumb here is a women needs about 2000 calories per day, while a men needs about 2500. They are only ball park figures, there are other variables that must be factored in, like your age, height and current weight.

Once you have this figured out, you can then devise a plan that is appropriate for you. Let's look at a concrete example of this:

Here is an easy down and dirt way to figure out how much weight you will lose by reducing calories. If you cut 500 calories per day from your required daily intake, you will lose around one pound per week. So if you cut 1000 daily, you should lose around two pounds per week.

Why does this work so well? If you want to lose weight quickly, then you want to consume fewer calories, than you need to, in order that your body will then need to turn to your fat stores to make up the difference.
